The arrival of digital video
Digital video has officially arrived in Fleet 40, and its benefits can be seen in this video from last saturday's practice session of one hapless crew going swimming during a tack.

That's unfortunate, to say the least.
This was actually a very interesting situation tactically. I thought Meller/Coe were on the starboard layline (the long video suggests we ultimately were a bit overstood), and that Davies/Renda tried for a "loose leebow" at a location that I thought was BELOW the layline... It would have been interesting if they had landed the tack. Would they have squeezed up and held off Meller/Coe, or would they have been rolled, gassed, and maybe even forced to tack twice?
